2009 - Honoring Sri Thyagaraja Swamy

The year marked the inception of the Aradhana, a humble start to what would become an annual celebration of Sri Thyagaraja Swamy. It all started with a deep-rooted commitment to honor the revered saint through Vaidika rituals and musical tributes.

2010 - Nurturing Vaidika Traditions

Building on the foundation, 2010 saw an expansion in the Vaidika ceremonies, an embodiment of the trust’s commitment to preserving and promoting the rich cultural legacy of Sri Thyagaraja Swamy.

2011 - UNESCO Recognition

A significant milestone! The Yati Aradhana received recognition from UNESCO and the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, attesting to its cultural significance as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of India.

2012 - Thillaisthanam Shishya Parampara

The trust proudly embraced the Thillaisthanam Shishya Parampara, a heritage of 176 years, a testament to its deep roots and commitment to preserving the legacy of Sri Thyagaraja Swamy.

2013 - Expansion to Sringeri Shankara Matha:

The musical offerings found a new home as concerts started gracing the Sringeri Shankara Matha premises in Chamarajpete, Bengaluru, offering a cultural feast to connoisseurs.

2014 - Bharathi Thyagaraja Samman

A prestigious award, the Bharathi Thyagaraja Samman, was introduced, recognizing individuals for their outstanding contributions to classical Indian music, Harikatha, and Vaidika scholarship.

2015 - Musical Extravaganza

The stage was set for music aficionados as top-notch musicians enthralled audiences with their talent, proficiency, and Bhakti, making it an event eagerly awaited every year.

About 10000 devotees are served with the ceremonial Satvik meal as prasadam every year during the Aradhana
