What this policy must settle
The earlier policy provided a reasonable baseline but was never verified operationally. Each of the following needs a decision on record before publication.
Who may donate, and which purposes a donation may be directed to.
Current 80(G) registration particulars and validity period, stated exactly as registered.
Whether donations from outside India may be accepted at all, and the Trust's FCRA position. This must be resolved before any page invites international giving.
Accepted modes — bank transfer, UPI, cheque, in kind — and the verified particulars for each.
The acknowledgement and receipt process: who issues a receipt, within what period, and what the donor must supply.
Refund and cancellation exceptions, and how an erroneous transfer is handled.
Donor privacy — what is recorded, whether donors are named publicly, and how consent is taken.
Governing law and jurisdiction, and a caution to donors to verify the official domain before transferring funds.
